Accessibility
This site is built to WCAG 2.2 level AA as its target. This statement says what has been done, what has been tested, and what is known not to be finished — a statement that only claims conformance is not much use to the person reading it.
What has been done
- Semantic structure throughout: one
h1per page, headings in order, landmarks, and lists marked up as lists. - A skip link to the main content, and a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Full keyboard operation, including the mega-menu, the mobile sheet, the enquiry form and search. Escape closes any open menu.
- Text contrast meeting AA against both the dark and the light surface, checked at the token level so a new page inherits it.
- Touch targets on mobile navigation at 56px rows and 48px links.
prefers-reduced-motionhonoured: transitions are removed rather than shortened.- Text reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px; wide tables scroll inside their own container rather than the page.
- No content conveyed by colour alone. The matrix on the capability page pairs its colour states with distinct symbols and text.
What has not been done
- No independent accessibility audit has been carried out. Testing to date is our own, using keyboard navigation and automated checks; a third-party audit is not yet scheduled.
- No screen-reader testing across the full matrix of assistive technologies. The site has been checked with one screen reader, not with several.
- The capability matrix is a large data table. It is marked up correctly with row and column headers, but a table of this size is demanding to navigate non-visually, and the same information is available as ordinary links on each capability and industry page.
