Agent execution infrastructure

The operational substrate an agent workforce runs on: identity for every agent, coordination with human approval gates, organizational memory, and a settlement layer that seals completed work. A protocol declares what correct execution is; infrastructure is the running system that enforces it, task by task, without a human re-checking each time.

Common causes

Declared-but-unenforced properties — a manifest that claims agents are revocable with no system that revokes them; coordination without identity; settlement with nothing real to seal; organizational knowledge rediscovered every session.

What good looks like

Live enforcement of the protocol’s claims: recorded authorizers, revocation that actually stops an agent, an audit trail produced as a by-product of running, and reputation derived only from settled work.
